kClient HTML Help: SETTINGS-ANNOUNCEMENT RECORD

General rules for announcement recording, erasing etc. are as follows:

  1. Firstly you must call the subscriber for recording. This is a phone which will be a source of voice for recording (the editing window for number->write directory number -> "Call"). It makes it possible to record and to play the announcements.
  2. Recording procedure is accessible for the "Administrator" and the "Supervisor" levels only.
  3. You can record empty announcement only.
  4. After the "Record" button pressing and warning window confirmation, short tone signal will emit as the begin of the record marker. You should speak after this short signal.
  5. The recording ends by the "Stop" button or by the phone hang-up.
  6. You can play the announcement by the "Play" button.
  7. New announcement isn't accessible for play by several seconds directly after recording. The KKO card must verify new announcement and it rewrites announcement database. After this time you can play this annuncement or erase it and record again if it is necessary.
  8. You can erase recorded announcements only.
  9. The buttons for erasing and recording aren't accessible if a conference is running.
  10. The FLASH memory for all announcements can hold about 4 or 8 minutes. This is summary time for all announcements.
  11. The "Announcement record" bookmark shows capacity of the memory and length of the announcement as a picture.
  12. You can erase all announcement module on the KKO card by using "Setings/Menu/Reset/Erase" command. This command makes it possible to erase the module completely.

In this bookmark we can edit names of all announcements. Names of announcements are saved in a file and accessible every moment.

There are announcement's names accordig to announcement's subject by default.

There are two buttons in order to load default names or empty names for all existing announcements.

Graphic bars in this window show if given announcement is recorded, how long it is and what is total busy of announcement memory in percentage and in graphic manner.
