The 'Csta Connections' features are based on CSTA Phase III services (Computer Supported Telecommunication Applications). The CSTA server for MX-ONE exchange is a part of telecommunication system and it must be installed in order to work with 'Csta Connections' feature. This 'kClient' software and CSTA interface interpreter software - 'kCstaMonitor' work as supervisor applications, they make use from CSTA server - installed with MX-ONE. The communication between 'kClient' and 'kCstaMonitor' SW is based on file exchange system, localized in exchange folder which path is configured here.

For proper work of CSTA Connections feature, it is required to configure every important data for CSTA access. This setting window has a few groups of elements:

For proper working of 'CSTA Connections' feature, it is required to setup following access data:

  1. CSTA server address - IP address for CSTA access.
  2. User name - parameter required by CSTA server
  3. Access password - parameter required by CSTA server
  4. kCstaMonitor interface SW path - by default it is "C:/AeRJoT/kClient4/kCstaMonitor/"
  5. The CSTA main switch - for switching 'Connections' feature.

If the 'CSTA Connections' feature is not used, don't check this box please.

"Monitor list" makes possible to include given number to monitored group. The CSTA server polls every number and sends proper information about state changing to the application.
In order to add the number to this list, it must be selected in database list and next by right arrom button it can be added on monitored list. The order on this list is the same like buttons order in the 'Connections' window. So, this window makes possible to sort these numbers if possible.
There are following edit buttons here:

Second important option is "Dispatcher number" list. It includes:

Note! Dispatcher's phone must be digital, system phone with additional buttons and next, every ADN must be defined in the exchange as additional number for main ODN.
The ODN 'main dispatcher' number will ne calling party number for every outgoing call. On the other hand, incoming calls can be addressed to both ODN and every ADN number.

Finally, it is possible to to add ODN and ADN numbers for neighbouring dispatchers
This feature makes possible to see incoming queue for neighbours. Next, it is possible to redirect (deflect) this incoming call by clicking the queue icon. It is possible to programm maximum 4 neighbouring dispatchers with 1xODN + maximum 6xADN numbers.
